Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and adhere to the Federal Privacy Laws of Canada.

Hirai Health maintains an email list. This list is used to distribute our newsletter for the purpose of keeping you informed. Individuals must affirmatively request to join our mailing lists by signing up through a form on our web site. We do not sell, rent, loan, trade, or lease the addresses on our list to anyone. You may opt out of this email list at any time. Any information you give to Hirai Health will be held with the utmost care, and will not be used in ways that you have not consented to.

When we collect information for payment at our online store, we use a secure socket layer (SSL) that encrypts your data. An SSL creates a secure connection between your web browser and our web server, over which any amount of data can be sent securely. This approach is approved by the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) and is the industry standard.

Hirai Health employs software programs to monitor network traffic to identify unauthorized attempts to upload or change information, or otherwise cause damage. This software receives and records the Internet Protocol (IP) address of the computer that has contacted our web site, the date and time of the visit and the pages visited. We make no attempt to link these addresses with the identity of individuals visiting our site unless an attempt to damage the site has been detected.

Hirai Health does not use "cookies" to track how visitors use the web site or to determine web sites previously visited. (A "cookie" is a file that is placed on your hard drive without your knowledge by a web site to allow it to monitor your use of the site.)
